Tommy Harden had been on the road with Reba McEntire in Texas and flew in to be my drummer. As a kid I always dreamed of a job where I could beat on things with sticks and get paid for it.

It was a thrill to have Reggie & Ladye Smith, from the Gaither videos, in to do background vocals on seven of the tracks.

My Dad had the chance to be in the studio this time around. He was obviously impressed by my professionalism....well, mostly by Tommy.

After working with me for a few hours, he was about to spaz-out.

'Headphone hair' is one of the setbacks of the studio.

Ok, so I wasn't really hitting a note here, but Mom said for me to pose, so I did.

I was feeling a bit fuzzy by the end of the day...

We left her worn out by the time we left.
